My approach to instructional design is rooted in curiosity and purpose. Two books shaped this mindset: Start with Why by Simon Sinek and Map It by Cathy Moore. Both remind me that every project should begin with a clear “why”.
Skipping a solid needs analysis or following the easiest path can turn designers into order takers and learners into overwhelmed audiences. I believe in doing the opposite: asking the right questions, challenging assumptions, and designing solutions that solve real problems.
Here, I’ll show you how this philosophy guided my projects and how critical thinking helped me create learning experiences that truly make an impact.
