The Accounts Receivable process exists in almost every major company, and in large organizations, each stage is often managed by separate teams. But where one process ends and another begins isn’t always clear — responsibilities can overlap, creating confusion.

To make this course truly valuable, I wanted to do more than explain the Billtrust products. I aimed to highlight the pain points customers face at different stages of the AR process and then show how Billtrust addresses those challenges. This approach ensures learners not only understand the workflow but also see the real-world impact of Billtrust solutions.

To make the product suite clear and relatable, I introduced personas. At the start of the course, learners meet an imaginary company — Superior Supply — and its team as they navigate a transaction with one of their customers. As the course unfolds, each Billtrust product is revealed alongside a team member and their real-world challenges.

By showing how the platform solves these pain points and makes their work easier, I achieved two goals:

• Help learners distinguish each Billtrust product within the suite,

• Highlight the practical benefits of using the platform.
